Within a week since its release, Windows 10 is already on 14 million devices!

It’s not even a week since Windows 10 was released and already 14 million devices are running this operating system!

The number isn’t as appealing as the excitement was surrounding the release; and this is entirely due to Microsoft’s plan to release the OS in phases. As shared by Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft corporate vice president, Windows and the Devices Group, “We are grateful for your excitement and enthusiasm and we appreciate your patience over the days and weeks ahead as we carefully roll out Windows 10 in phases to all of you that have reserved.”

This is however for Windows 7 and Windows 8 users who reserved their Windows 10 upgrade through the notification in the system tray. If you aren’t ready to prolong your wait to get your hands on the latest OS, you can visit Windows 10 download page and initiate the upgrade process from there.

Indeed, Windows 10 comes with its bunch of enhancements and fans can’t wait anymore to check out the improvements that have been added here including the cool Start Menu, The Edge browser, Cortana, and the facility to create virtual desktops.

The offer for free Windows 10 upgrade will remain valid for a year; so, if you haven’t yet reserved your upgrade yet, there’s still time. However, if you wish to check out the new features and advantages of this OS version, we suggest you promptly upgrade your existing operating system edition. Windows 10 is one of Microsoft’s best offering yet and worth checking out now.
