Microsoft® Windows® 7 SP1 Released To OEMs

Microsoft’s Windows 7 is the latest operating system. Now Microsoft recently offered the Windows 7 SP1 version. The final build of Windows 7 SP1 has been confirmed by Microsoft’s Russian Windows Virtualization team.

They have made it clear that the service pack will now be available for the public. As we are expecting that Microsoft released the service packs to OEMs and we are hoping that for public it may be released on a later date.

Now Microsoft recently posted a software update and the update will apply to all versions of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. The update is named as KB976902 and if you want to remove and install any service packs of all versions of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 then this update is necessary.

Microsoft released a service pack Blocker Tool that makes us to speculate that they are going to release Service Pack 1. Microsoft always releases service pack blocker Tool Kit around two months before they release service packs. They also published a Windows 7 release candidate build to mark the final push to RTM.

Windows 7The service pack 1 that was launched will include RemoteFX, for remote users the RemoteFX will provide rich 3-D graphical experience. The service pack will also include several updates. These updates were also released sometime ago for Windows update for both Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.

Everybody is quiet confused with the use and features of RemoteFX. This is the tool which is used to enhance the RDP’s remote capabilities. This tool can be used for all types of clients which uses the low cost thin clients. It can also be used to experience the multiple remote display and for AERO.

A special technique called host-based rendering is used by RemoteFX to achieve this. The host-based rendering technique compress the final screen image and sent it down to the remote host that will render locally on the Remote PC. These enhancements will improve the quality of virtualized computing by improving the video streaming across remote sessions.

Recently Windows 7 completed its first birthday with a whopping 240 million licenses sold in the first year. The SP1 was expected to have launched by March 31, 2011 as Microsoft officials promised.

Windows 7 is getting very popular now and we are hoping the new SP1 will surely going to make it big. These updates will improve the quality that it was using previously by Windows 7.
